A George III silver fish slice, William Plummer, London 1781, with pierced blade and beaded handle, and a George III silver ladle (possibly Newcastle), marks partially erased, 29 cm and 34 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: The blade has slight undulations from use but is free from any obvious splits, tears, repairs or breakages. The join to the handle is still solid and intact however there is a small 7 mm split to the underside of the handle. One side of the blade has the assay marks whilst the other is engraved with a stalk on a chevron cushion. The assay marks on the blade are very clear, the makers initials at the handle are rubbed maybe initials M&B. The handle has beaded and thread decoration.
