Woldrige-Gordon by the 79th (Queen's Own Camerons) Highlanders on the occasion to his marriage to Lady Florence Gordon on 9th May 1895 Major HG. Woldrige served with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders in the Egypt campaigns of the 1880s including the Sudan Frontier Force in 1885-86 and was awarded both the Egypt medal and the Khedive's Star. He would later servein the First World War and the third reserve battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He married ont rh 9th May 1895 Lady Florence Gordon daughter of the 19th Earl and Countess of Erroll, Slains Castle Aberdeen. Who served as lady of the bedchamber to Queen Victoria 1873-1901. On the occasion of their wedding Queen Victoria presented a brooch to Lady Florence.
