A Dutch five-piece silver-mounted blue glass cruet set,by Jan W Pas, Nijmegen 1795/1811,comprising:four salts,of boat shape on pedestal oval feet with beaded borders, with plain scroll handles and reeded upper rims, 9cm high and 11.5cm long, anda two handled mustard of urn shape,the domed cover with reeded knop finial, 13cm high,with a silver mustard ladle,in addition a set of three silver mounted glass coasters,of plain circular form with fine beaded borders, 11.5 cm diameter (9) CONDITION REPORT: Some nibbles to glass bodies. Top rim of mustard is coming away from the blue glass lines. Appears to have been re-glued, with some damage to rim of glass. Two salts have repaired splits to rims. Areas of tarnish to all salts. All salts have the silver rims coming away from the glass and loose bases. Dishes have scratches and rims are loose and worn in placed. Please view additional images (upon request).
