A French Art Nouveau suite of export silver flatware, comprising 12 dessert knives and forks, 12 dinner knives and forks, 11 teaspoons, a soup ladle, a large serving spoon and fork, a pair of salad servers, a bread fork and butter knife, and nine other various smaller items. Each piece is cast and engraved with poppies and sinuous stems and leaves. Post-1878 Mercury head stamp for .950 fineness and maker`s/retailer`s stamp OTM. in a lozenge. Fitted in a double tier oak canteen. (Two fitted items missing, but several extra). (See illustration)
