A quantity of Old English pattern silver flatware, various dates and makers, with crest of Milburn comprising, a soup ladle, nine tablespoons, three table forks, a dessert spoon, six dessert forks, eight teaspoons, a sauce ladle and two condiment spoons, approximately 1462g CONDITION REPORT: This set is 'made up', the condition varies but it is generally usable. Some wear to tines, a couple of teaspoons are bent across the bowls. As you have noticed there was a typo in our catalogue, there are 6 dessert forks, not knives.

A George III silver Old English pattern soup ladle, London probably 1770 by T. Ellis. With shell moulded bowl. 5.13 ozt, 35 cm long.The bowl has signs of repair at the junction with the handle. It looks as though it has been split and repaired. There is evidence of heat, although it has been well done and is discreet. The feather edging on the handle is worn. It is bottom marked and the marks are clear, bar the slightly elongated date letter. The bowl is in good condition with no dings or splits.
