A good Caughley dessert sauce tureen ladlecirca 1782-92painted in underglaze blue with an unusual butterfly to the centre surrounded by supplementary Chantilly Sprigs, a single blue line to the rim of the bowl, the terminal of the moulded handle further detailed in blue and basket-weave moulded to the underside rim of the bowl, unmarked, 16.5cm long
