An unusual George III silver soup ladle by John Lambe, London, probably 1780, Old English pattern with spiral twist stem, maker's mark at top of stem, the lion passant, leopard's head and date letter at bottom of stem within the fluting, engraved with a late Victorian monogram "SM" under a coronet, wt. 163 gm.Good condition, the 3 lower marks partly obscured by fluting and only right half of leopard's head visible

A) 18th century ladle with relief carved beaver effigy on bottom. Wood is light in color, in great condition, with a dry patina. B) 18th century carved wood beaver mold made from one piece of wood. Nice patina, very good condition. Measures 11 x 5-1/2 x 1 inch. C) 18th century curly maple ladle with a bird head shaped handle. Wonderful dark patina with excellent figuring, very nice example. Measures 7-¾ inches long x 4 inches wide. D) 18th century nicely shaped maple ladle with bird head on handle. Measures 8 ¾ inches long x 3-7/8 inches wide.
This ladle is most likely made in Pennsylvania with Indians that traded with the Pennsylvania Germans. There is evidence of influence in the chip carving of the heart and hex design. There is a hole at the top of the ladle to hang. Surrounding the hole is a stylized hex sign. Underneath that is the heart. There is a slight crack along the grain near the top. The piece is stable. There is some wear from age and use. The ladle alone measures 17 inches tall x 4.5 inches wide. Great patina. Complete with display stand, which can be removed.
Manufactured 1848-1849. The chest itself measures 14 inches long x 7-1/2 inches wide x 7 inches tall. It dates to the mid 1800s. The box has most of the brass tacks still present. Has initials TS on the lid. The lid is detached and the handle is missing a few pieces, which are in the box. Scattered areas of losses and wear. Other pieces include 2 shot flasks, one fabric, one leather, a tin cup with lid, a small iron signal cannon, a pewter button marked Mas II Reg, a weight set in original box (missing some pieces), skinning knife, small round grinding stone, tin cap box, tin candle holder, horn cup, small powder horn, early lead & iron fishing lure, folding iron bullet making ladle, rifleman shot block with some original musket balls & fabric (used for fast loading). A Thai Benjarong Tureen with Lid and Matching Ladle; together with a Stem Bowl : late 19th/early 20th century:The tureen richly enamelled with floral and leafy motif on a bright yellow ground and with a portrait of King Chulalongkorn, also known as Rama V (1878-1910). The domed lid with a cartouche containing a Siamese coat of arms (H 24 cm x D 20 cm). The bowl vividly enamelled with phoenix and peonies to the outside and a medallion with the portrait of King Rama V amidst peonies to the inside (H 7 cm x D 12 cm). Both with Thai inscription to the base. CONDITION REPORT: In good original condition, crazing to the glazing no damage or restoration
