A mixed group comprising: a copper pint measure jug with tiered base, strap handle, pouring lip, lead seal with impressed 'HR' and heater shield; an iron ladle with long socket and wooden handle. 567 grams total, ladle: 37cm (14 1/2). Property of an Essex collector; acquired 1990-2010. The ladle was commissioned from Anvil Art, Somerset, U.K. [No Reserve, 2, No Reserve]. Fine condition.

A quantity of 18th and 19th century English and Oriental ceramics to include an 18th century Caughley 'Salopian' tea bowl and saucer, two Worcester Granger reeded tea bowls, a 17th century Chinese blue and white ladle, a 19th century Cantonese Famille Rose cup and saucer, Chinese 18th and 19th export cups and Oriental-inspired English tea bowls, saucers and cups. CONDITION REPORT Wear to all pieces, tea bowl has rim chip. Rim chips and gilt wear throughout. Saucer with Chinese calligraphy has two minor frits to edge, gilt edging heavily rubbed, most of it missing, wear to gilt areas in centre of bowl and minor paint rub.
