The rubies are believed to be natural but could be a combination of both natural and synthetic. The rubies measure appropriately 3.7mm x 2.5-2.7mm. The diamonds are all brilliant cut stones and of good colour and clarity. The diamonds measure approximately 1.2mm each. The width of the band is approximately 9mm. The snak is stamped 18K but also has Birmingham assay hallmarks for 18ct. Weighs approximately 8 grams.

The ring is in very good condition commensurate with age. The ruby is in good condition, very minor scratches and surface abrasions, the ruby measures approximately 5.8 x 3.2 x 2.7mm. The diamonds are all lively bright well matched old cut stones and are of good colour and clarity. The setting and shank are in excellent condition commensurate with age. Weighs approximately 2.4 grams.
