All numbers and lettering is in good order. There is a hairline crack running over the 1 'o' clock mark, about 1cm wide. There is moderate scratching to the glass, but no chips, fractures or losses. Outer case shows moderate scratching and wear, enamelled decoration shows some minor losses and wear, but is largely in good order, with no splits, large dents or signs of repair. Inner dust cover is hallmarked 18ct gold, and has no inscriptions. Some large scratches around the lip of the back cover, dust cover and pendant. All covers open smoothly and close with a snap, sitting flush.The watch winds, and ticks when wound. Watch weighs 105.2gms. Chain weighs 15.7gms. An Edwardian 18ct gold knot design ring, marks for Chester 1908, size O ½, together with a late Victorian 18ct gold braided ring, marks for Chester 1900, size L ½, weight of group 9.3gms (2)CR; Knot ring: Several dings and dents to the knot shaped head. The ring does appear to have been misshapen or stretched, as the knot looks slightly pulled and the shoulders differ - one side is split and the other is not (see pictures). There is also moderate misshaping to the shank. There is scratching and wear to the ring overall, but no signs of repair. Hallmarks are heavily worn.Braided example: There is a beaded detail missing on the central braided panel of the ring. There is general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use to the head and shank - the bead work in particular seems to have been dented and flattened overtime. There is no obvious signs of splitting, damage or repair to any part of the ring.

An Edwardian diamond and ruby set 18ct gold ring, comprising an oval mixed cut ruby flanked by two round mixed cut diamonds, scroll design shoulders continuing to plain polished 18ct gold shank, marks for Birmingham 1903, ring size M ½, together with a similar gold coloured diamond and ruby set ring, shank unmarked, size N, weight of pair 6.0gms (2)CR; Example pictured left: The central ruby shows moderate scratching and wear, heavy nibbling around the facet edges of the table, and a small fracture running across two of the outer facets. One of the diamonds has a surface reaching fracture, and a couple of large chips around the table. All stones are present and secure. the head and shoulders are in good order, no splitting or signs of repair. There is some misshaping and thinning to the shank (see pictures), but no splitting or signs of repair. Hallmarks are crisp and legible.Example pictured right: Central garnet shows scratching and wear, but no chips, cracks or losses. Diamond chips appear in good order, no large chips or losses, but crystal naturals are visible. There is splitting running behind the head of the ring (see pictures for illustration). Engraved decoration to head and shoulders is clear and in good order. Shank shows some minor misshaping and minor thinning, but no splits or signs of repair. Heavy wear to the claws and settings, gaps visible between the stones and settings. Shoulders in good order, some wear to decoration, but no splitting or signs of repair. Some minor misshaping and thinning to the shank, but no splitting or signs of repair.Right: Large fracture to one of the outer gemstones Other stones are in tact, but show moderate scratching and abrasion. All diamond chips are present. Heavy wear to the claws and settings - gaps are visible around many of the gemstones.
