A heavy 18-carat yellow-gold ring set with a horizontal band of five graduated fine quality diamonds, ring size 'U' (boxed) (approx. 8.2g) Approx. I carat of diamonds, colour is approx. VSI, diamonds appear quite clean, there is a tiny piece of black to one corner of one diamond. Some minor surface scratching to gold.
An old yellow-gold ring set with five rubies in a carved claw setting Approx dimensions are:- approx. 5mm height x approx. just over 3mm wide. We do not know the depth as the ring is set into an elaborate open work claw setting. Under a jeweller’s loupe the stone exhibits some minor scratches and marks etc., generally commensurate with age. Nothing major. Where the ornate gold shank meets one of the outside stones it is noted that shank has a small split. The ring appears very thin at the circular back and under a loupe you can see a small mark where the ring has probably been cut and re-sized. Weight approx.. 3.12g total. Ring size I.
An 18-carat white-gold large rubellite and diamond cluster ringApprox. dimensions are: approx. 15mm high x approx. 13mm wide across the face x approx. 7mm deep. An estimate as it is in a claw work setting. Under a x 10 lense there appears to be several very small inclusions within the stone although these aren’t visible with the naked eye. A very good ring overall with a nice colour central stone. The diamonds appear quite bright around the oval rubellite stone and set it off very well. The other stones around the claw settings and on the shoulders although small are generally of good quality. Although not exactly “bright white” are still good enough to present the ring in a very good light. Generally good condition but under a loupe very minor surface scratches can be seen to some of the metal otherwise in very good overall original condition with no problems, repairs or damage noted. Weight approx. 10.10g. Ring size O
Three rings to include a 9-carat gold eternity ring set with white stones, one further similarly sized 9-carat yellow-gold wedding band and a lady's 9-carat yellow-gold Art Deco-style ring centrally set with three white stones (testing as diamonds) (total weight approx. 8.3g) (3)
An 18-carat yellow-gold wedding band modelled as alternating inverted hearts, ring size 'Q' (approx. 5.67g)Overall very good condition with no major problems noted. The item has come privately and has only been consigned because the vendor has arthritis of the fingers. The ring is fully hallmarked to the inside as expected and is also lightly engraved EX 222. Very nice ring overall with no problems.
Probably by David Morris of London, a heavy white-metal (marks rubbed), probably 18-carat white gold, a lady's dress ring centrally set with six hand-cut sapphires in a flower head design within three horizontal bands mounted with approx. 120 diamond chips, ring size 'S' (approx. 9.72g)
de Grisogono (Geneve), fine and unusual 18 carat yellow gold ring (marked 750) of rope twist design and mounted with a green hardstone (probably nephrite) pendant dropper as a ladybird, ring size 'J/K' together with one other matching ring, the ladybird pendant mounted with a moonstone and six further smaller green hardstone spots (2), total weight 9.98g The green nephrite stone and six black spots – under a loupe and being super critical the gold exhibits minor surface scratching the pendant dropper as a ladybird appears in good general overall condition with no problems noted. The other ring is set with a ladybird modelled as a moonstone with six green dots and similarly so under a loupe the gold exhibits very minor surface scratches. The stone itself appears to be in very good general overall condition with no problems noted.
