1925 West Ham London Challenge Cup Winners Medal: Awarded to Ted Hufton. Gold 15ct hallmarked medal is blank to rear and has London Football Association to front with nice design. Stunning medal with ring suspension for the match in which West Ham beat Orient 2-1. First teams were fielded in this competition. Only two years earlier Hufton had played in goal in the FA Cup Final. Weighs 16.8 grammes.

Ca.100-300 AD. A gold ring with a D-shaped tapering shank; oval bezel set with a dome-shaped cameo with a high relief of Hercules and the Nemean Lion. The Nemean lion was a vicious monster in Greek mythology that lived at Nemea and was eventually killed by Heracles. Ca.300 AD. A gold finger ring comprising a flat-section hoop with applied granule to each shoulder stepped bezel with inset garnet, intaglio profile of an Emperor; possibly Julian II the Apostate (if we compare with coins iconography). Julian II was a Roman Emperor from 361 to 363, as well as a notable philosopher and author in Greek. His rejection of Christianity, and his promotion of Neoplatonic Hellenism in its place, caused him to be remembered as Julian the Apostate by the Christian church. A really interesting Roman gold ring depicting God Apollo; elliptical-shaped bezel with inserted black stone depicting Apollo Citharede, its a statue or other image of Apollo with a cithara. Among the best-known examples is the Apollo Citharoedus of the Vatican Museums, a 2nd-century AD colossal marble statue by an unknown Roman sculptor.
