Boodles five stone diamond ring, the brilliant cut stones each with De Beers marque, the centre stone with Anchorcert report stating the weight to be 0.31ct, colour F and VVS clarity, all stones are well matched and totalling approx. 1.57ct, set in collet mounts on an 18ct gold ring, size M/N, gross weight approx. 4.48g (Anchorcert report no. 20060332. With De Beers registered diamond certificate dated 1998)

A fine rare short lived example attributed to Major Arthur Mark Crofton, who served in 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars from 1852 to 1857. The crimson Melton face, bordered with one inch shamrock pattern gold lace, bears gold wire embroidered Guelphic crown on THE KINGS ROYAL HUSSARS scroll over silver wire ornate VR cypher bearing padded gold wire Royal Crest over VIII with Maid of Erin Harp below flanked by shamrock embellished Crimean battle honours. Complete with crimson Morocco leather backing and pocket, retaining closure tongue Fitted with three gilt metal D ring attachments for slings. Minor service wear. Generally VGC. A George V 18ct gold signet ring, monogrammed 'MB', sponsor's initials 'F.F&Co', Birmingham 1912, wt. 6.3g, size S. Condition - general wear including scratches, dings, marks, hallmarks quite well defined, two discoloured areas on band interior on each inside shoulder which could indicate re-sizing but these are not in the typical place... in my opinion it has not been re-sized but i haven't an explanation for the marks...
