A 18ct gold green tourmaline and diamond set cluster ring The oval cut green tourmaline of approx 9x7mm claw set to a border of round brilliant cut diamonds, to knife shoulders and plain band, band hallmarked 18ct gold, finger size N. CONDITION REPORT: Weight 3.1g, fully hallmarked with British hallmarks, 1980 -1990's, no evidence of repair, small chips to faceted edges and girdle, can be seen under a 10x lens, two hairline cracks can be seen in the stone, to one side, diamond chips 0.02ct approx.
An early 19th century diamond-set mourning ring The central oval panel, set with a rose-cut diamond foliate motif, mounted in 18ct gold with a carved foliate scroll border, to a reeded shank, the reverse inscribed, ring size L ½ CONDITION REPORT: Weight 3.3g, rose cut diamond chips approx 0.015ct, fairly dull diamonds, set against black ground. The back of the ring encasing plaited brown hair, inscribed around the back window "John Morely 1837 62...", it is hallmarked to the back of the shank, markers mark 'WE', stamped '18' monarchs head (William IV) hands, Lionhead, 1829, evidence of wear, no evidence of damage or repair, general wear.
