The pendant probably Italian, centred with a small diamond flower spray within a blue guilloche enamelled surround and within a rose diamond single line raised border, the hinged pendant bale stamped '750', approx. 37.5mm high, 33mm wide overall, 19.6g gross; together with a vintage Italian filed-curb necklace this stamped '750', on a later bolt-ring clasp stamped '375', approx. 38cm long overall, (15 inches), 4.2g. Both in a box marked G. Nardi, San Marco, Venezia. Condition Report: Pendant; Overall very good condition, general light wear and tear commensurate with age and use. The enamel undamaged. The three graduated oval mixed-cut rubies rub-over set in yellow within a round brilliant diamond 21-stone scalloped white gold border, on a yellow gold 'D' section shank, with hallmarks for London 1970, size P+, 4.5g gross Condition Report: Would benefit from a thorough clean as the clarifty of the stones is currently obscured. There is some general surface scratching to the stones and the setting, the shank with some minor wear.

A stunning gold finger ring of a flat-section hoop with nicely decorated shoulders and a bezel set with a carnelian intaglio depicting a left-facing female bust, flanked by quiver and arrows. The latter led to identifying this female portrait as a depiction of the Roman goddess Diana (Greek Artemis). In Roman art, Diana usually appears as a huntress with a bow and quiver, accompanied by a hound or deer. Ca. 400 BC. An onyx scaraboid engraved to the underside with a standing figure holding a palm branch. The gemstone has been set in a gold swivel ring, which features granule decoration at the shoulders. The ring is composed of a thick and plain loop, which has been threaded through the ends of the bezel. This unique design allowed the wearer to swivel the bezel to show off the engraved design as desired. The swivel ring is Phoenician in origin and was extremely popular across the Mediterranean basin in antiquity.
