A fine quality enamelled and jewel set gold Masonic cross late 19th / early 20th century, of Maltese cross form with cross swords through circular reserve with raised crown and cross, the crown peaks decorated with three old cut diamonds, the cross decorated with five inset rubies, on a black enamel ground bearing the words `In Hoc Signo Vinces` in gilt lettering, each section of the cross bearing Masonic emblems - the all seeing eye, serpent and cross, skull and bones, cross and shield - with hinged knight`s helmet and shoulder plate bale with suspension ring, the reverse with a raised Royal arch keystone which reads `KSHTWSST` in yellow gold against white enamel, lodge inscriptions surrounding, 4.2cm. high excluding ring.
