A very fine 18-carat gold, large emerald and diamond ring CONDITION REPORT: The ring is in good condition, it has a clean emerald of approx. 2 carats. The emerald does have an inclusion, it is flanked by a half carat diamond either side - so two diamonds each of a half carat either side of the emerald. The emerald itself is measured at 7.2 - 7.4mm. The total weight is 4.82g. The finger size is P. The diamond colour is good they are nice good white diamonds and approximate the colour at I. The diamonds we think are very clean overall. The clarity of the diamonds we approximate at VS1. We think that the emerald is a mid green colour as per the website. The emerald is a nice clean stone but does have an inclusion. This has an Art Deco look about it but it could be Art Deco to mid 20th Century we think. It is clearly hallmarked as 18 carat with a platinum setting.
An 18 carat yellow gold dress ring horizontally set with two bands of five fine quality diamonds, ring size 'O/P' CONDITION REPORT: All appears to be in good order. We estimate 1940's/50's. Approx 5g. Hallmarked 18ct. There is no evidence of damage, modification or repair. All the stones appear to be in good order with no chips or cracks, The estimated carat weight of the 10 diamonds to be 1.8 carats. In our opinion is that all the stones appear to be clean with no significant inclusions although some very minor inclusions noted at a close level. The stones are nice and clean but we can't really estimate the colour.
A champlevé mantel clock with gold-coloured chapter ring with Arabic numerals surrounding a central enamel circular motif, with key; 18.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: In our opinion this is late 19th Century and does appear to be in good working order, circa 1880-1890. The pointed sections at the top and back have both been very slightly pushed inwards but the enamel looks in good order.
A fine late-19th century lady's yellow gold (marked 18K) fob watch; the chapter ring with Roman numerals surrounding a foliate engraved centre and the dial signed 'Mottu, Geneva' at the 6 o'clock position; the outer case opening to reveal inner case engraved 'Examined by Fredk. Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, 6 Strand, London'; the reverse of the outer case finely engraved with acanthus-style motifs surrounding a central shield-shaped vacant cartouche; together with key suspended from a yellow metal chain, CONDITION REPORT: The inner cuvette looks to be 18k but we can't see a hallmark. The inscription is deep and this seems to wind and run. The dial is good with minor surface scratching to the glass, the diameter is 3.5cm. We can't see any dents to the case but there are some surface scratches to the cuvette which is inscribed. Gross weight of watch is 37.5g. The chain does look gold but again we can't see any hallmarks from which we have to assume that this is gold plated.
