A yellow metal ring marked 18ct, a yellow metal ring with blue enamel decoration and floral design of white stones (some missing stones), a 9ct gold ring with a black heart shaped stone (af) and a yellow metal ring with white stones, approx weight 6.6g (3).
COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, British Historical Medals, George IV, Visit to Ireland, Glazed Gilt-silver Medal, 1821, by J G Hancock(?), laureate bust left, ASCENDED THE THRONE …, rev crowned Irish harp with the branches of roses, thistles and shamrocks, 47mm, plain silver border with suspensionn ring (BHM 1117, R2; Eimer 1149). Choice extremely fine, the surface matt but the flowers and leaves picked out in differing colours of gold.
COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, World Medals, Spain, Isabella II (1830-1904; Queen 1833-1843-1868-1870), Gold Presentation Medal, undated (c.1850), by Luis Marchionni, signed LM, laureate bust right, ISABEL 2A REINA DE LAS ESPANAS, rev Royal Arms, with Collar and Badge of the Golden Fleece, crowned and draped, named on edge MR JOHN WALKER, 36mm, 55.78g, watch-type suspender and ring and original ribbon (cf Cuesta 109). Choice extremely fine and extrtemely rare. The recipient is believed to be John Walker (1781-1859), the British inventor of the friction match, though this cannot be verified.
