The hallmarks are however fully legible. The ring is a little thin round the area that has been cut. Other than this the ring is in generally good order. The accompanying wedding band is in good condition simply a little dirty.
An 18 ct white gold Art Deco diamond ring, size K, with central diamond and diamond set shoulders, stamped "18 k". CONDITION REPORT: The shank and mount are in good condition. It is difficult to say exactly how old the ring is but it is probably Art Deco and certainly pre 1950. We do not have the colour and clarity of the stone. The diameter of the centre stone is approx 4 mm.
A tanzanite and diamond set band, 26 tanzanites and 26 small diamonds, size M/N. CONDITION REPORT: It is difficult to tell the age of this ring. Our guess would be approximately 20-30 years or so. It is in generally good condition. It has however been made larger and there is a 4 mm section of gold that has been added to the base of the ring. All stones are present and intact, none are loose in their mounts.
A solitaire diamond ring, each shoulder set with three small diamonds to white gold coloured metal mount, hallmarks rubbed, size N/O (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The stone does have an inclusion which is visible with the use of a loop. We do not have the clarity of the stone. The ring is extremely dirty underneath the claws. The diameter of the stone is approx 7 mm. The shank is in generally good condition however there is discolouration at the base suggesting that the ring has been resized (larger). The 18 stamp is quite worn but legible. We are not sure about the age of the ring however it must be at least 50 years old.
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, rubover set, circa 1930, yellow gold coloured metal shank, hallmark rubbed, size N/O (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The ring is in generally good order. The shank is not significantly worn. There is some dirt behind the stones however the overall impression is that of a bright ring. Looking at the stones under a loop the sapphire have numerous top surface scratches. The diamonds are generally unmarked.
A sapphire and diamond five stone ring, with yellow gold coloured metal shank, hallmark rubbed, size P/Q (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The ring shank is in generally good condition. The ring is extremely dirty and requires a good clean. The stones are not loose in their settings but many of the claws are bent out of shape. All stones have surface scratches, marks and minor chips.
An 18 ct gold opal and diamond ring, size P. CONDITION REPORT: The ring has a generally very good appearance. The stones have a good colour. One however is not quite as lustrous as the remaining four. This maybe a replacement. Close inspection of the claws shows that two are partially missing and two very worn. None of the stones are loose however. The shank is in good condition and the hallmarks very clear and legible.
