Antique sapphire and diamond three-stone ring, the central cushion cut sapphire flanked by two old European cut diamonds, in an unmarked gold shank, ring size I, gross weight 3.3g.Condition report: This lot does not have a gem laboratory report. Approximate characteristics: shank stamped '18'; light abrasion, good thickness, claws moderately worn; sapphire is abraded on the edges and facets, RI 1.76 - 1.77; colour appears to be good of medium tone with some slight greyishness through the table, but note that the abrasion obscures detail, dimensions ≈5mm x 4.5mm x 3mm. Diamonds clarity SI-VS, colour H, dimensions ≈4mm x 4mm.
