Andrew Grima 18ct gold Green Tourmaline and diamond ring with a large rectangular step cut green tourmaline weighing approximately 8.71cts with four baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.66cts in total, in 18ct yellow gold ‘matchstick’ setting, signed and hallmarked London 1971, with original receipt of purchase from Andrew Grima dated September 1972, original fitted box. 25.36 grams. Ring size L- L½The ring was purchased new from Andrew Grima in 1972 by the late vendor and is being sold on behalf of the executors of her estate. The ring is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Tourmaline measures approximately 15.1mm x 10.1mm x 5.85mm. The tourmaline is in excellent condition. The gold setting is also in excellent condition, light surface scratches commensurate with age and wear. Clear hallmarks and signature. Weighs approximately 25.42 grams. Original Grima box in good condition commensurate with age.

Ring size M.Whole oval plaque measures approximately 21mm x 19mm. The sapphire has minor scratches and abrasions. There are approximately 72 brilliant cut diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.01cts each. Gross weight approximately 5.3 grams.

The diamonds are all lively bright well matched stones and of good colour and clarity. Setting and shank in good condition. Gross weight approximately 3.1 grams.
Antique diamond ring with an old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.90cts in gold gypsy style rub-over setting.The diamond measures approximately 8.2mm x 8.0mm x 4.75mm. The measurements can only be estimated due to the setting. The stone is a lively bright stone with no obvious inclusions when viewed with a loupe. The edge of the stone can not be examined and the colour is difficult to estimate due to the gold setting, it appears to draw slight colour and probably L-N range. The clarity appears to be very good. The shank has sizing beads so is difficult to measure the size but it fits a finger size approximately J-K, the shank is split at the base and would need soldering. Gross weight 7.17 grams.

The edge of the stone cannot be examined. The diamond appears to be an extremely clean stone and no obvious inclusions when viewed with a loupe. The diamond also appears to be a very lively bright stone, very white and clear in natural light. Not hallmarked but appears to be 18ct. Probably circa 1970. Gross weight approximately 7.98 grams. The ring is not a conventional shape so difficult to measure the size but it fits a finger size M.
