A SUPERB .270 BOLT-ACTION SPORTING RIFLE, NO. 5081. 24-inch barrel with hooded ramp fore sight, rear sight with folding leaves, the sight bed engraved with scrolling foliage, the receiver mounted with a Swarovski Habicht 6x42 telescopic sight with engraved Holland & Holland type quick detachable claw mounts, bolt with side safety, magazine with hinged base plate, recoil stud, the whole profusely engraved with foliate scrollwork against a stippled ground, the rear receiver ring with a Scottish thistle, the magazine base plate with a Highland stag and signed by the engraver, M. Long, and retaining all of its original hardening colour, serial number inlaid in gold, the half length exhibition grade stock with pistol grip, cheekpiece and rubber recoil pad, ivory tipped fore-end and grip cap, 14-inch pull, 9lb. 10oz., nitro proof. The rifle appears virtually unused and retains all of its original finish. It was displayed by the maker at the Safari Club International Show shortly after manufacture.

Long, retaining all of its original hardening colour, the serial number signed in gold, half length exhibition grade stock with pistol grip, cheekpiece and recoil pad, ivory fore-end tip and cap, 14-inch pull, 9lb. 12oz., nitro proof. The rifle appears virtually unused and retains all of its original finish. It was built as a set with the previous and was exhibited at the Safari Club International Show shortly after manufacture.
