Early Victorian gold (18ct) enamel and seed pearl mourning ring with flower-head cluster with central glazed compartment of plaited hair, surrounded by seed pearl petals interspaced by faceted black stones, with gold and black enamel leaf and foliate shoulders. Maker's mark - R. C. (London 1855). Ring size N½ CONDITION REPORT Very good original condition. Good clear hallmarks. Maker's marks slightly indistinct. Enamel in very good condition. A few minute chips / scratches commensurate with age. The underneath of the bezel engraved with initials F. S. or F. J
Early Victorian gold emerald and half pearl dress ring, Victorian gold (9ct) garnet and opal cluster dress ring, late Victorian gold (9ct) diamond and red stone ring (Birmingham 1896) and one other dress ring (4) CONDITION REPORT Emerald and half pearl ring - has had a repair. At some time it has been broken and this break is visible under the setting of one of the outer pearls. The setting has a crack which has been soldered (probably with lead) and then a gold reinforcing bar applied to the underneath of the setting / inside shank. Ring size M½. Opal and garnet ring - fair condition. Several signs of having been 'sized' and subsequently has lost the date letter and maker's mark. Weighs 1.7 grams. Ring size P. Diamond and red stone ring - good original condition. One red stone (probably rubies) is chipped. Ring size L½. Weighs 1.7 grams. Single stone ring - garnet on a setting that has been later soldered to a gold (22ct) wedding ring. Weighs 1.3 grams gross

Early nineteenth century gold, seed pearl and carved hardstone mourning ring, the flower-head cluster with a central carved hardstone cameo depicting a forget-me-not, surrounded by eight seed pearls, on cast gold foliate shoulders and tapered shank, circa 1830. Ring size P CONDITION REPORT One small chip to a petal on the forget-me-not of the hardstone. Good condition. Wear commensurate with age. Probably had a glazed locket compartment to the back of the bezel but this is now missing. It has wear on one side of the bezel where it has been worn with another ring / wedding band. Inscription to the inside of the shank has now worn away and illegible. The flower-head cluster measures approximately 10mm diameter. Total gross weight approximately 2.1 grams
