An 18ct yellow and white gold cluster ring, set with a large cabochon sapphire approx 10mm x 8mm surrounded by 12 diamonds, each off approximately 15 points - total diamond carat weight 1.8 carats, valuation in 2000 £4,200.00, ring size 0 to 0 1/2, handmade open basket setting, sapphire good colour and diamonds lively and bright - setting appears all in good order
dating: 19th Century provenance: Indopersia, Curved, double-edged blade, in damask, with strong, enlarged tip, ribbed in the center, the rest of the surface with central raiser, the tang featuring on both facets a gold-inlaid floral engraving on a dashed background. Grip with iron ring-nut and central band, featuring remains of gold-inlaid floral drawings. Smooth grip scales in damask. The grip's peak shaped as lily, with central button. Wooden scabbard covered with green velvet sewn with copper threads (defects). Iron cap and chape, the first with gold-inlaid frames and pierced decoration, provided with a small loop. Pierced chape, with remains of gold inlays. length 35 cm.
dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Venice, Straight, single-edged blade with a back groove, dated on the rib 1797 and featuring floral engravings with flowers and frames in red gold; typical, silver grip engraved with floral motifs, ring nut marked 'Z. G.' and 'Venezia'; bone grip scales (small splinters); wooden scabbard covered with red velvet with silver mounts, finely engraved and embossed with floral motifs. length 36 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Heavy, rifled, two-stage, 15 mm cal. barrel, octagonal in the first segment, gold-inlaid with floral motifs at the base, seven gilded stars and crescent, followed by a long, gilded inscription in Arabic, rimmed with four stars, a silver ring at the girdle rimmed with gilded frames; the rest of the barrel is cylindrical, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle. A second, gilded crescent at the nozzle, stars and other gold-inlaid spirals. Cusp-shaped sight with three holes. Miquelet, flintlock richly decorated with gold-inlaid floral motifs (some part missing). Long, wooden stock with squared butt. Silver mounts. Front part with silver-inlaid star and crescent repeated various times, other silver, partially pierced plates in the bottom part around the typical, spherical trigger. Completely silver-plated back around the barrel's tang. Walrus ivory muzzle. Butt side with silver, partially pierced mounts. Ramrod is missing. Two loops on the right side for suspension string. length 132 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: France, Straight blade of triangular section and hollow faces, finished at the forte, featuring small gold-inlaid engravings depicting floral motifs and trophies, gilt base, marked 'IGB'; silver shell-guard with fretwork and engraved feathers and spider net, silver quillon and guard with bas-relieved floral decorations, the edge of the parry quillon shaped as a bud; silver pommel decorated with palmettes; grip with mother of pearl grip scales, lateral bands decorated with oak branches and a mount depicting the effigy of a Pharaoh, the ring-nuts with palemttes and foliage. length 90.2 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Japan, Iron, octagonal, 12 mm cal. barrel, decorated with gold-inlaid ideograms at the base, the rest of the surface inlaid in silver with a dense weave of geometrical drawings, Tokugawa's Mon in the center, gilded on the remains of reddish coloring. Nozzle with moulded muzzle, silver-inlaid as well, but with spirals and provided with fore-sight. Sight on the barrel's back, shaped as parallelepiped with thin grooves at the peak and chessboard decoration. Pan on the right side, complete with spark arrester and revolving pan cover, both in silvered brass. Lock with flat, curved plate, provided with serpentine (in good working order), in brass as well with remains of silvering. Ring-nut decorated in the same way, that holds the arm at the height of the barrel's base. Wooden, full stock lacquered in brown (lacquer with small parts missing), Aoi-Mon (Malvarosa) of the Tokugawa is reproduced five times on the grip and alongside. Wooden, lacquered ramrod. Brass trigger's slide with remains of silvering. length 18,5 cm.
dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Naples, Round barrel with square base, first part with beautiful, silver trophy followed by a gold inscription 'Le Génie Francais Adopte La Liberté et L'Egalité', strongly bell-mouthed nozzle of circular shape, the ends with golden ring, snap bayonet above the nozzle, with engraved base and with a gilded lily; engraved tang with locking mechanism for snap bayonet; beautiful miquelet lock signed 'D. VOCATURO' and engraved with warrior and floral motifs; wooden, full stock with grooved butt, nice, brass mounts engraved en suite. Flat, iron, engraved butt-plate. Iron ramrod. Very scarce. length 89.5 cm.
