Com Arthur Scott Horace Pitt Rickards was a very keen golfer and Captain of the Glen Golf Club and also Coxswain of the North Berwick Lifeboat. The locket belonged to Edward Henry Rickards D.L. and the engraving refers to Ester his wife. Ester Burman was the daughter of Richard Burman of Shottery Warwickshire. Condition report: The pieces are in good condition commensurate with age. The chain fastens with a bolt ring catch. The shorter chain fastens with a clip fastening. The reverse of the miniature locket is stamped '15' and in our opinion would test as gold. The other pieces bear no hallmark nor stamp.
