A sapphire and diamond half hoop ring, the trio of circular mixed-cut sapphires spaced by pairs of old-cut diamond points, to a scrolled gallery, 18ct gold mounted, hallmarked for London 1918, numbered 1772, together with a sapphire and diamond set shaped double row band ring, channel set with two rows of calibre-cut sapphires, with collars of rectangular step-cut diamonds, 18ct gold mounted, ring sizes L½ and N½ respectively (2)First ring: Sapphires contain natural inclusions and areas of colour zoning that are just visible to the unaided eye, with some surface-reaching fractures/fissures. Largest sapphire diameter approximately 4.6mm. Diamonds have small nicks/chips with a slightly greyish hue. General surface wear to mount, the tips of the setting are heavily worn and the shank is slightly off-round. Marks are fairly clear, maker's mark is 'L&G'. Gross weight approximately 3gm. Second ring: General surface wear to mount, scattered scuffs and small chips/nicks to sapphires. Diamonds are well matched and bright, each weighing approximately 0.03ct. Width of mount 7.7mm.
