An Edwardian Opal and Pearl Necklace, the drop comprising a round cabochon opal, to a small pearl, and then an oval cabochon opal, joined by yellow knife edge bars, on a fine trace link chain, drop length 4.7cm, chain length 42.5cm The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a bolt ring catch. The catch is stamped '15C' and in our opinion the necklace would test as gold. Gross weight 2.8 grams. CR made 8th May 2015
A Diamond Solitaire Ring, an old cut cut diamond, in a white claw setting, on a yellow tapered shoulder shank, estimated diamond weight 3.25 carat approximately, finger size K1/2 It was valued for insurance purposes in March 2015 at £38,500. The ring is in good condition. It is stamped '18CT' and in our opinion it would test as gold. The diamond measures; 8.98mm x 8.52mm x 6.08mm. The approximate qualities of the diamond are; colour I/J, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 3.4 grams. CR made 29th May 2015 There is a small split where the (yellow) shank meets the (white) setting. This requires attention. 140715
An Opal and Diamond Ring, circa 1880, the graduated oval cabochon opals spaced by pairs of old cut diamonds, in yellow claws on a scroll setting, to a fancy shouldered plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.50 carat approximately, finger size M1/2 The ring is in good condition. It has a worn stamp, but in our opinion it would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 5.8 grams. CR made 29th April 2015
