MONTEGRAPPA THE DRAGON FOUNTAIN PEN.Black resin barrel with the shape of a dragon in 975 sterling silver, two red rubies.Limited edition 1179/1912.Nib F, in 925 sterling silver with screw cap.No box.Measurements: 14.20 cm in length, 24.6 mm. in diameter.Made of a beautiful anthracite grey celluloid, both the cap and the barrel, which are covered with solid 925 sterling silver sleeves, carved in relief, in which a menacing dragon meanders. All the parts that are not the mythical animal are cut out, so that through these holes we can appreciate the shine and colour of the celluloid. On the cap, the end of the tail of this scaly being forms the clip and below it, we can see engraved "MONTEGRAPPA"; in the eyes are set two rubies that give it a hypnotic gaze.On the barrel we find a silver button, located at the end of the butt, where the piece number is engraved on the total of the edition; the eyes of the dragon are again dressed by two rubies and on a silver ring, located on the mouthpiece, is engraved "MONTEGRAPPA"; the nib is the usual one of the brand, 18K gold, The nib is the brand's customary 18K gold two-tone platinum nib, except for the decorative ribbing, which retains the colour of the gold.It went on sale in 1995, with a print run of 1912 copies.
