1962 Chile FIFA World Cup 18ct gold Winners medal awarded to Brazilian Amarildo Tavares da Silveira, designed by PEKA, obverse with FIFA and Victory in relief, reverse bearing CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FUTBOL COPA JULES RIMET CHILE 1962, stamped PEKA and 0.750, with suspension ring, weight 20gms, 40 by 22mm.; sold with a signed letter of provenance from Amarildo dated 4th February 2010 (2) Brazil defeated Czechoslovakia 3-1, played in Santiago 17th June 1962, Amarildo Tavares da Silveira replaced the injured Pele, he scored three goals in the tournament including the first gold in the final on the 17th minute.
