A rare 19th century rose gold Gilpin County Colorado bi-colour miners ring. Rose and green gold applied fruiting vine to the engraved tapered band and set with gold in stone matrix, stamped GILPIN CO GOLD, size R, 5.93g.UK postage is £15.20. The seam of the band has crude soldering. The raised areas have the details rubbed, ie the leaves and the grapes.

The scroll cast band insribed 'JOAN BULPIN OB: 14 OCT 1777 AE: 60', size T 1/2, 3.34g, within a Georgian ring box.Joan Bulpin 1717-1777 died on 14th October 1777 and was burried 18th October in North Pertherton, Somerset in St. Marys Church. She was married in 1748.

Each opal has surface wear and scratches. The green stones all have chips and wear to all of the facet cuts.
