Antique diamond three stone ring with three old cut diamonds in gold claw setting on gold shank. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.5cts. Ring size L½.Condition report: Centre stone measures approximately 6.4mm x 6.4mm x 4.8mm and estimated to weigh approximately 1.25cts. The two smaller stones measure approximately 5.1-5.3mm x 3.58mm (estimated to weigh approximately 0.62cts) and approximately 5.0-5.2mm x 3.7mm (estimated to weigh approximately 0.63cts). The clarity of diamonds is very good, no inclusions visible when viewed with a 10X loupe. There is no obvious draw of colour but this is very difficult to establish due to the yellow gold setting. Gross weight approximately 4 grams.
Early Victorian diamond and emerald ring with a central cushion shape old cut diamond flanked by four emeralds and two further old cut diamonds with gold cannetille work setting and shoulders. Ring size L.Condition report: The ring is in very good condition commensurate with age. No obvious signs of any damage or repairs. The stones are all original to the ring and in good condition commensurate with age. The central diamond measures approximately 5.3 x 4.5mm and of reasonably good colour and clarity. The emeralds measure approximately 3.3 x 2.5mm. The two smaller diamonds at each end are of poorer colour and clarity than the principal stone in the centre. No hallmarks. Gross weights 2.7 grams.
