New Zealander Nancy Wake, who was one of the most decorated women of WW-2, Signed 13.5 x 8.5 cm photograph. She joined the French Resistance and helped save 100s of Allied Troops. A marvellous woman.  For now one story will suffice and, perhaps, will make you smile a wistful smile. Her Group lost their radio telephone which was used extensively for coordination. She rode her bicycle 200 km across France, to another radio operator. “I got back.  How are you they enquired?  I cried. I couldn’t stand up. I could not sit down.  I could not do anything.
