Three vintage gentlemen's wristwatches to include a Helvetia example with stainless steel head, the circular silvered dial set with gold Arabic numerals and smaller subsidiary seconds dial, crown wind movement, the second a Timex example with gold-coloured dial, crown wind movement, both on black leather straps, a Gruen quartz movement example with magnified calendar window, on brown leather strap, also a Tavistock & Jones talking radio-controlled stainless steel wristwatch, on stainless steel flexi strap (4). CONDITION REPORT Both crown wind movements have been wound at the point of cataloguing and appear to be in going order, however this is no guarantee of working order. The Gruen example is a quartz movement and does not appear to be working, however it may just need a new battery. The talking wristwatch appears to be in going order at the point of cataloguing, as the hands are moving, however this is no guarantee of working order. We have not been able to make the watch talk. It comes with a box and instructions.

A rare walnut cased Decca Model 300 Television Radio Gram retailed by Harrod's, the doors opening to reveal a fitted TV screen and dials, the lift up lid enclosing a Decca record player, bearing Decca & Harrod's supply label to reverse, 111cm high, 75cm wide, 48cm deep. Auctioneer Note: It is understood that the model was introduced circa 1952 and carried a retail price of around £350. This example was bought by the current vendor from a Golding's auction in Grantham in the early 1990's.
