The history file includes the original owner's hand book and a thick pile of service invoices. The file also contains copies of correspondence between the owner and the company that refurbished the car in the 1980s, which make very interesting reading. The car has old MOTs going back to 1986 and a period radio. The present MOT certificate expires on June 24th 2016.

- 4 former keepers on V5C and credible but unwarranted 52,000 miles - Black upholstery, automatic, spot lights, wing mirrors, locking petrol cap - History file, said to 'drive like a low mileage example', MOT'd till Sep 23rd Further Info: The MK I Capri on offer today is a 2000 GT XLR version with automatic transmission that was first registered, in Surrey, on March 17th 1970. The accompanying V5C Registration Document shows four former keepers one of whom is understood to have been a dealer. Of the other three the last but one gentleman owned the car for 14 years while his predecessor had it for some 15 years. In an effort to confirm the ownership history the vendor has applied for a history trace from the DVLA which will be passed on to the purchaser when available. Considering the apparently low ownership of the car it is entirely possible that the speedometer reading of just 52,157 could be correct (though, it is not warranted). However, the history file does contain a large number of old MOT certificates going back to 1995 when the mileage quoted was 45,126. Futhermore the vendor informs us that the car 'certainly drives like a low mileage example'. The Capri has the correct front spot lights, wing mirrors, locking petrol cap and period radio. With a current MOT, that expires on September 23rd 2016, the car is ready to enjoy.
