Treacy (Douglas Bader's C.O.) on 1st April 1941, at Henstead in Suffolk, together with two pieces of shell that hit RAF Hawkinge, in Kent, on 14th February 1941, believed to fired from Cape Griz Nez, mounted on cardboard with a black and white print showing German officers looking over the channel, and an oil cooler grid from a B17 Flying Fortress, which had been used in an experiment as a part radio controlled bomb, crashed into Suffolk woodland in 1944, recovered on site, 32 by 16cm, together with a P47 Thunderbolt fuel cap, with aromatic printed upon it, 11cm diameter.
