1991 BMW 316 Lux Transmission: automaticMileage:2404In some ways, the E30 was a turning point for the success, some would say world domination, of BMW. From the moment it was launched, it moved the game on in engineering integrity, from performance and handling all the way through to ergonomics and durability. Plus, it has always looked sharp, not trying too hard but good enough for all those yuppies, reps and families of the 1980s and 1990s to feel good about the vehicle on their driveway. All this created another new phenomenon, a BMW regularly in the top 10 UK best sellers chart. With all this engineering finesse and 'Ultimate Driving Machine' marketing makes the E30 BMW one of the more popular, sensible and usable modern classics out there.Originally registered on 3rd January 1991, this automatic transmission BMW 316 Lux is something special. It was purchased and tucked away by the owner as he saw the investment potential of the car. It was used exceedingly sparingly and was always kept in a warm dry garage. It is thought this car has never been out in the rain. The term 'time warp condition' is often over-used, however in this particular instance it is very relevant. Purchased from Rydale Cars Ltd. in the West Midlands, the only factory option on the car was metallic paint. Dealer options included a Radio cassette with four speakers, an alarm system and mudflaps, the final invoice price was £15,181.00. Finished in Diamond Black with Anthracite interior this car is totally original. All the panels are exceptionally straight with excellent panel gaps, the interior looks like new and under the bonnet there is still the protective wax from BMW. This iconic E30 has covered only 2,500 miles from new and must surely be one of the, if not the lowest mileage example available anywhere today. The car was purchased by the current vendor in May 2021, he has continued the theme of not taking the car out in the rain and is only selling it due to restrictions on space. Supplied with a V5C registration document this car is best summed up in one word-exceptional!Interested parties should note that the private registration plate shown is to be retained by the vendor and a new, age-related registration issued instead.

Lot 135

1992 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon GES 300 Transmission: automaticMileage:103725The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagon, short for Geländewagen (cross-country vehicle), is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. The G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz vehicles in their history with a span of 32 years. It was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of Iran and offered as a civilian version in 1979. The first major refinements were introduced in 1981, including an automatic transmission, air conditioning, an auxiliary fuel tank, protective headlamp grilles and a cable winch. Fuel injection became available in 1982 when the 230GE was introduced in Turin, along with more comfortable and supportive front seats, auxiliary heating, wider tyres and wheel arches. For 1985, differential locks, central door locking and a tachometer became standard. This example is very well presented in metallic Beryll Blue, (which is actually Green in colour), with cream cloth trim. This GES 300 G-Wagon was originally supplied to Guernsey, the supplied service book shows it was first registered there on 12th June 1992. Unusually well appointed, this GES 300 comes supplied from the factory with metallic paint, automatic transmission, alloy wheels, heated front seats, electric front windows and even air conditioning. The service book also shows over 18 stamps and the accompanying history file shows many more receipts for maintenance and servicing work carried out during the vendor's ownership, many by main Mercedes-Benz dealerships. Today the car presents very well; the interior is well kept for a 31 year old 'utility' car, but perhaps this is indicative of the beginning of the luxury SUV market with little use as compared to a traditional utilitarian vehicle. The paint is also in good condition with only the odd blemish to be expected on a vehicle of this age. Owned by the vendor for the past 24 years, this is a very well-kept example, is in great condition throughout and is reported to run and drive very well, only now reluctantly offered for sale, due to the arrival of a new car. Supplied with the UK V5C registration document, MoT test certificate valid until 1st March 2024, an impressive history file, past MoT certificates, original Becker radio, jack, toolkit and first aid kit. To find such an original, good condition example of this 4x4 legend, let alone with such a comprehensive history file and so well optioned, is rare to say the least and an opportunity not to be missed.

Lot 158

2005 Jaguar XJR Transmission: automaticMileage:72718This superb looking example was originally delivered to Japan and was acquired by the current vendor in 2017. This Jaguar was colour changed to match the original red and black leather interior and a legendry Wald 'Black Bison' body styling kit was fitted by the current owner. Complemented with a tuned exhaust to make the most of the V8 engine, without making it too loud. The Jaguar has been fitted with X358 door mirrors and comes with a Piano Black dashboard and trim. Also fitted to the car is a UK specified Sat Nav, UK instruments, radio code, and owner's manual. Offered with two keys and a separate boot key, this Jaguar also comes with a Parrot phone kit, tools, and an unused spare tyre. The vendor reports that this XJR drives well and is fitted with Yokohama tyres which are in good condition all round.Showing 70,000 miles on the odometer, this Jaguar is offered with a history file containing a service history booklet with stamps since the current vendors ownership, having been regularly serviced and maintained by Jaguar Land Rover in Leatherhead, Surrey. Also included are previous MoT records, the current V5C registration document, and an MoT test certificate valid until October 2023.  The private registration number is included in the sale and so is the original boot lid, front and rear bumpers and side skirts, which must be collected from Oxshott, Surrey following the auction.

Lot 190

1976 Lamborghini Urraco P300 Transmission: manualMileage:63515In accordance with their usual practice of naming their cars after fighting bulls, it was fitting that this new, junior, V8 Lamborghini was named 'Urraco' which approximately translates as 'little bull'. Its 2+2 configuration hinted at Lamborghini's grand touring roots and its distinctive styling by Gandini displays a family likeness to the fabulous Countach. The V8 engine, however, was a departure from the traditional V12 and may have been indicative of Lamborghini's decision to have a look at a different market where the Porsche 911 and Ferrari Dino 246 currently reigned supreme. The most developed Urraco was the P300, of which approximately 205 were made between 1975 and 1979. The P300's engine had a larger stroke than the P250, upping displacement to 2,996cc and providing 265bhp at 7,800rpm. The P300's is a considerable step up from the P250 with its chain driven, quad cam engine proving both more powerful and robust, as well as the addition of a brake servo ensuring the car's stopping ability matched its improved performance.First registered on 1st May 1976, this stunning stainless steel bumpered example presents beautifully in its metallic grey paintwork with tan interior. Sitting on a set of incredibly rare, new old stock Campagnolo magnesium wheels, this car is unusual in that the wheel's centre caps are clipped in, a feature not possible when these types of wheels have been refurbished, (the centre caps are then usually glued back in). Details like this are a clue as to the quality of the car. Maintained for some time by the very well reputed Lamborghini specialists Colin Clarke Engineering, the car has had very light use by the vendor who has been keen to maintain its beautiful condition. Anything that the car has required has been done by Colin Clarke Engineering and the vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well. An example of this is that Colin Clarke removed the engine and rebuilt the gearbox as well as checking the clutch in September 2021 at a cost of £10,146. The original four spoke steering wheel remains and the interior was re-upholstered to a high standard in tan leather, in 2014, at a cost of £6,600. Complementing the new interior, the then owner is reported to have had the car repainted at around the same time. All the relevant badges and stainless steel trim are present, even the original Blaupunkt radio cassette player is in situ, making this a rare, arguably concours condition example of these handsome 1970's Italian sportscars.Supplied with a V5C registration document and file of receipts amongst other information. With only three former keepers in the UK since its registration in the UK in 1990, this excellent example is ready to be shown off and hold its own at any prestigious event as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the esteemed Lamborghini brand.

Lot 204

2004 Porsche 911 / 996 Carrera 4S Transmission: automaticMileage:122977The Porsche 911/996 Carrera 4S is fast becoming one of the most desirable 996 models, given its wide turbo body looks and still remaining very affordable in the modern classic world. It offers a thrilling driving experience and is powered by 3.6 litre flat-six engine, producing a highly respectable 316bhp. This engine was paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed Tiptronic automatic. The car was also fitted with an all-wheel drive system, giving it excellent traction and handling in any conditions. The 996 Carrera 4S has a top speed of 174mph and a 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in its class. This example was optioned from new with the Tiptronic gearbox, making it a fine package for long distance cruising, or city commuting. The car has a comprehensive service history, with 12 stamps in the service book, all being from Porsche main agents until 2012 at 91,049 miles. Following that, the servicing has been carried out by Porsche specialists JMG Porsche and Tower Porsche, with one more visit to Porsche Mid Sussex in 2016 at 108,952 miles. The most recent service was carried out by Tower Porsche in March 2023 at 122,576 miles. The car presents in Arctic Silver, which still looks in great condition. The interior also looks excellent with the seat bolsters still in very good shape and the overall impression is of a car which has been in caring ownership throughout its life. Our vendor had a very detailed inspection carried out prior to purchasing the car in November 2021, which can be viewed upon request as a PDF or indeed read through it in the history file. Our vendor also went to the trouble of fitting a Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB 7 € touch screen entertainment system, which offers Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and DAB radio, bringing the car up to modern day standards. The car was also fitted with upgraded Alpine speakers, which are an improvement over the ageing original items.

Lot 206

1972 Maserati Indy (4.7 litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:62319Manufactured in 1972, this wonderful 4.7 litre Maserati Indy is fitted with the optional automatic gearbox and is an original right hand drive example. Previously restored by its current owner between 2008 and 2018, this Indy was treated to huge amounts of work to the body including cutting out and completely replacing the inner and outer sills, as to the front floor sections. There were also repairs to the A posts and lower sections of the door skins. Some minor welding was also required to the front of the bonnet amongst other areas. A bare metal respray followed and the Maserati was finished in its original colour combination of red coachwork with a tan interior. Delving back further into the car's history it reveals an engine and gearbox rebuild was completed in the early 1990's (circa 6,000 miles ago). Our vendor has maintained the car where necessary having the underside treated with a light covering of underseal to prevent any rusting, also replaced was the sound deadening and new carpets were fitted. New Inertia reel seatbelts were installed at the same time and the radio has been replaced with a modern stereo system. More recently the carburettors were rebuilt and tuned, and the air conditioning was also rebuilt and re-gassed. Beneath the boot floor sits a full-size spare wheel and the battery, which was replaced last year. An isolator switch is also fitted. The paint finish remains in good condition throughout although there are some age-related blemishes as one would expect. The engine bay looks to have been well maintained and the interior is in very good order having recently been re-connollised.Accompanying the Maserati is a sizeable history file including a photographic record of the bodywork restoration. Old MoT test certificates abound, that would seem to confirm that the recorded mileage is indeed genuine. Sundry invoices, the Maserati driver's manual and the current V5C registration document. Used regularly by the current vendor, this example is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian in the coming summer months.

1998 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Sahara Transmission: manualMileage:89576The 1998 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Sahara is a rugged and capable off-road vehicle known for its durability and versatility. The Sahara trim level adds some extra features to the Wrangler, such as diamond plate rocker guards, body-colour bumper flares, and a Sahara-specific interior with high-back bucket seats. Overall, the 1998 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Sahara is a capable and fun vehicle for off-road adventures or daily driving. Lot 232

2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante Transmission: Mileage:63000The DB9 was the star of the 2003 Frankfurt Motor show where it was unveiled to the public for the very first time. The DB9 was powered by a third-generation version of the now familiar 6.0 litre, V12 and had a top speed of 186mph. It was the first of what was to become a long line of production Aston Martins to use VH architecture, using Superformed parts in the chassis and footwell as well as the body panels. The individual die-cast, extruded or stamped aluminium elements of the VH platform were bonded with strong adhesives and self-piercing rivets to make a lightweight but stiff backbone. Aston Martins have always made the interior of their cars to be very special places. Beautifully tailored with the finest of materials, the DB9 uses Bridge of Weir leather, aluminium and wood. The use of wood in the interior was different from previous Aston Martins with customers offered a choice of walnut, mahogany or bamboo.Originally registered on 1st March 2006 this Aston Martin has had two previous keepers and comes with a very good service history. It has multi-spoke alloy wheels and we are advised it drives well, although the airbag light is on. The vendor has also asked us to point out that the Sat Nav and radio are currently not working. The paintwork will also require some attention. These stylish convertibles are great looking cars and offer style, presence and performance all in one package. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 14th September 2023, this is a fabulous vehicle for the summer ahead.Interested parties should note that the airbag light is illuminated on this car.

Lot 239

1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Transmission: automaticMileage:57056The Silver Shadow broke new ground for the Crewe Company in a number of key areas, from the sophisticated fully independent suspension with an advanced self-levelling system to four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The only major components carried over from the Silver Cloud III were the excellent, all aluminium, 6.2 litre V8 and four-speed automatic transmission with fluid flywheel, the latter replaced by GM's excellent 400 three-speed box in October 1968 while the engine was enlarged to 6.75 litres the following year. Although no power output was ever divulged by the company, merely described as 'adequate', the Silver Shadow's superior aerodynamics meant the car was perfectly happy cruising the motorways. No less than eight individual Connolly hides were used to trim the interior of each car and the standard of finish on the upholstery, rich Wilton carpets and burr walnut veneers was impeccable. Each Silver Shadow employed 20 electric motors, powering everything from the radio antenna to adjusting the individual front seats. Build quality on the Silver Shadow remained unsurpassed, each taking no less than 12 weeks to build from start to finish.Originally supplied by Henlys in Chester on 7th August 1981, this Rolls-Royce presents in delightful condition and is finished in probably the best colour combination of Peacock Blue with Beige leather interior. A good history folder accompanies this Silver Shadow II, to be expected latterly by respected marque specialists. The engine runs well and we are advised this car drives with no known faults. The paintwork is in good order as is the interior; the front seats are fitted with headrests adding additional comfort for the driver and front passenger. These iconic Rolls-Royces are sublime to drive, offering comfort and luxury like no other car. This 1981 registered car is one of the last to be registered as the Silver Spirit was available from 1980. Supplied with a V5C registration document, together with the bookpack including the service book. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow prices have been increasing significantly of late, and this is an ideal opportunity to obtain one of the last ones registered.
