A large quantity of Peter Gabriel ephemera, relating to his early years from Charterhouse School through to his band Milords (M'Lords) and Genesis. In the collection are early letters and documents regarding attempts to promote and obtain agency along with a rejection letter to play in Portugal, a letter from Jonjo Music Ltd dated 3rd May 1968 and a letter regarding the playing of 'The Silent Sun' on Radio Caroline and not on Radio One. Early promotional photographs of the band, press release document by Charisma Records, Genesis date sheets for April to August c1969 with fees paid, handwritten embryonic lyrics for 'She is Beautiful' from 1967 with the original title 'Photographic Model', another for 'Fireside Song' with chords on the reverse and some other unknown lyrics. The school house list for January 1965 includes the names of Peter Gabriel, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks. In addition the lot includes fan club items and signed photo for The Zephyrs, (Peter Gabriel was a member of the fan club whilst a student at Charterhouse), and further letters and papers too numerous to mention.
SARNOFF DAVID: (1891-1971) American Businessman & Pioneer of Radio & Television. Sarnoff, somewhat exaggeratedly, claimed to have been the sole hero waiting by a telegraph key at the Wanamaker station in an effort to confirm the fate of the RMS Titanic in 1912. A large vintage signed 9.5 x 12.5 photograph, the oval image depicting Sarnoff in a formal head and shoulders pose. Signed ('David Sarnoff') in fountain pen ink to the lower photographer's mount and dated 1930 in his hand. Contained in the original photographer's plain presentation folder. VG

Press negatives - large collection of 35 mm black and white negatives taken by local press photographer centred around the Weymouth area of Dorset in the 1980's. Subjects include lifeboat launches/incidents, Spitfire flight, Radio 1 roadshow on Weymouth beach with DJ Steve Wright, Union of Democratic mineworkers annual conference and numerous other local events that made the papers. Cossor Eagle - Closer KIngs Of The Air - A C Cossor Ltd - A rare original retro vintage mid 20th Century original advertising point of sale shop display figure of the Cossor Eagle constructed from spelter raised on gilded paper mache base. Original numbered makers label to base. Measures: 32cm tall.Cossor were a go-ahead electronics firm, designed, and manufactured electronic thermionic valves, domestic radio sets and television receivers both before, and after World War II. During the War, their work on the Chain Home radar alongside Pye and EMI brought great prestige to the company.

Collection of Interesting Vintage Items including a vintage Bush wooden cased radio with integral speakers, Type ACII, measures 20'' wide x 15'' tall x 7'' depth, housed in handsome wooden case; vintage Olivetti Lettera 22 typewriter in brown carry case. This is a portable mechanical typewriter designed by Marcello Nizzoli in 1949 or, according to the company's current owner Telecom Italia, 1950. This typewriter was very popular in Italy, and it still has many fans. It was awarded the Compasso d'oro prize in 1954; a tall black metal vintage reading lamp; and a vintage shooting stick/seat.
