Model TV-37 Candid TV Pilot Radio in original case. In 1949, Pilot Radio Corporation unveiled a new television receiver which retailed under $100. Known as the "Candid T-V” unit, it had a tiny 3" direct view picture tube and weighed less than 15 pounds. This example appears complete other than the knobs for the front. In the original case, with original cord and an envelope of wiring diagrams and tube placements. An amazing piece of early TV history. Untested. Size: 25,5 x 40,5 x 39,5 cm. Condition: Good.

NEW ORDER, THE SMITH & THE FALL 1986 POSTER. For Derek Hatton benefit poster, Liverpool 1986. Frame measures approx 51x38cm.A monumental gig, what a line-up. Tony was very impressed with Derek Hatton’s politics and was adamant we must support this new wave of politicians. He was like a better dressed Andy Burnham. We did it for expenses... £63, so did the Smiths... £663. The Fall demanded a fee as well... £1663. Good old Mark! He was right to though, Derek would bow out soon after to become a radio presenter.
NEW ORDER "TRUE FAITH" 1998 BRIT AWARD. Presented to New Order in the category "Best Video" for "True Face" (misspelling of True Faith!) as voted for by BBC Radio 1 listeners.I didn’t go to these awards... it was Noel Edmonds turn to present and it was presented to them lot by a Radio 1 DJ... no not that one, they were lucky! I was out shopping for a record deal for my new band ‘Revenge’ and was really pissed off with the other 3. Don’t know how I ended up with it, but must admit the incorrect spelling, the prong missing (which was how it was presented) and the video being voted for by Radio 1 listeners... nearly finished me off!
JOHN PEEL PACKAGE. To include John Peel day BBC Radio pass and Flyer 2005, John Peel Show New Order & JD Cassettes x 3 and Undertones Vinyl Singles x 2 ‘Teenage Kicks’(His Favourite record EVER!).My favourite DJ ever! Such a lovely man... I loved the way you just rock up to the BBC and ask for him... he would come and say hello and bring you up to his office for a chat. He was a big factor in our early success of both Joy Division and New Order, without a doubt. The tapes of his shows are great. A real trip down memory lane. I had a picture of him dressed as a St. Trinians schoolgirl on my bedroom wall from Sounds magazine in the early 70s... don’t ask me why. Was a great honour to play on John Peel Day, and an even greater honour to celebrate his birthday recently by playing ‘Homage’.
