A rare Roberts mains radio, Model RM20 with solid teak case and solid silver bezel frame by Mappin and Webb (London 1977), MW and LW push buttons, volume and tuning knobs, black fascia with white detail resting on three rubber feet. This model is an unique prototype of 100 similar sets produced for the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977 and comes with original packaging and card box and has a silver label affixed engraved " The Queen's Silver Jubilee 1952 - 1977. Roberts Radio Co Ltd. Condition Report Appears in excellent original unused condition.
A Hacker Sovereign III Radio in grey/green suedette with silver and black grille, four push buttons, three bass, treble and volume knobs and a large tuning knob, aerial, four yellow, red and orange sliding markers, mains/battery, burnished silver metal carrying handle on turntable base. According to the vendor this radio was bought for the Roberts development lab as a comparison (something that all manufacturers in the UK did from time to time!) Condition Report Minor wear to suedette, overall good condition.
A rare Roberts Radio, Model 600 with silver mesh grille, five push buttons, two tuning knobs, aerial with clear perspex back and part front enabling interior to be seen, black leather handle on turntable base. This radio was one of only 5 or 6 produced by Roberts for a radio show in the 1970's and was constructed by the vendor in the Roberts Radio development lab. Condition Report Overall good clean condition.
