A rare vintage 1956 Monaco Grand Prix large format black and white photo, depicting a line of racing cars including a Vanwell. Framed and glazed 50cm x 62cmProvenance: From the offices of the last Managing Director of Vandervell's in Maidenhead before the company's closure in 1997. GKN bought the company following the death of its founder, Tony Vandervell, in 1965. Consigned from the family.
A rare vintage 1956 Monaco Grand Prix large format black and white photograph, depicting a Ferrari Thin Wall Special racing car (No 11) with driver Colin Vandervell at Silverstone, just prior to Silverstone's first over-100mph lap. Framed and glazed in a period frame: 68cm x 81cm. Provenance: from the offices of the last Managing Director of Vandervell's in Maidenhead before the company's closure in 1997. GKN bought the company following the death of its founder, Tony Vandervell, in 1965. Consigned from the family.
