A vintage G Plan Tola and Black dining room suite, 1957, the four chairs with butterfly backs, printed marks for Ernest Gomme. Sideboard 149 cm wide, 85.5 cm high, 6 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: It would appear that the top of the sideboard has been covered, however the left hand side approximately 38 cm long x 3 cm deep has varnish blistering. All drawers and cupboard doors operate as they should. The carcass just below the cupboard doors has the varnish crazing and lifting but I stress that this is only the varnish lifting. Overall the sideboard is in good order with a visible stamp mark on the rear. The chair has a small fingernail size chip to its back rim which has been darkened down and there is a small recent knock on the front of the back rest, again this is a minor thing. Another chair has a small bruise along the bottom front rim but in general all the chairs are in good order. The dining table is in good order throughout. The chair seats are 43 cm from the floor, 47 cm wide. The table is 75.5 cm high and 84 cm deep, 54 cm when closed, 1 meter 37.5 cm when open. This furniture has been in the same family since new and well looked after.
