RAF Signed Cover Collection 9 in Album With Slipcase. 13 covers including rare Mosquito signed covers and scarce varieties inc VC winners. Covers have a retail price of over £550 DE2069 15th July 1972 50th Anniversary of the King's Cup Air Race, flown in Robin HR100 in the race. Scarce Muscular Dystrophy variation signed by Miss W S Brown, winner of the King's Cup Air Race in 1930! Numbered 38 of just 100 signed. RRP £45 DE2036 1976 Mosquito Aircraft Museum series cover MAM5 de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk. Flown in a Chipmunk from Seething in Norfolk. Signed by legendary test pilot Pat Fillingham (1914 2003). Fillingham flew over 120 different types of aircraft in his career and was Chief Production Test Pilot for de Havilland. He flew the prototype Chipmunk in 1946. RRP £45 DE2037 1976 Mosquito Aircraft Museum series cover MAM5 de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk. Flown in a Chipmunk from Seething in Norfolk. Exceptionally rare Muscular Dystrophy variation signed by Ray Andrews (for whose research funds the flight was made), John Churchill (Chief Pilot, Harvest Air) Terry Holding (local businessman), Oscar Foster (Birmingham University Air Sqn) and Brian Mees (flight engineer with British Air Ferries). Now this is where the cover gets REALLY rare. It was reflown in Nigel Brendish s MightyMunk, a modified Chipmunk which Brendish used to fly at air displays. He also flew the floatplane in the Bond film For Your Eyes Only. Brendish famously once flew UPSIDE DOWN over the English Channel for charity! He tragically died in 1987 while performing low level aerobatics. He signed this cover, as well as a photo inside of him upside down in his plane over the English Channel. So so so rare. A pair of hand painted glass trinket pots bearing early Liverpool City crest to the tops, a set of three vintage hand painted plastic thimble holders and thimbles with heart shaped bases, and early a small quantity of early 20th century commemorative ceramics. CONDITION REPORT The lid of one trinket pot has a very minor chip to its interior. A couple of the commemorative cups have minor damage.
A 19th century 'Superfine' moleskin top hat in a leather carrying case, a gun musket bag and a vintage decoy duck (3). CONDITION REPORT Measurements of aperture for head approx 20 x 16cm. Some wear commensurate with age but no visible signs of damage to hat.
