Signed by Sim in blue fountain pen ink with his name alone to a clear area of the background. The actor has experienced a little pen trouble at the beginning of his signature, however it remains perfectly legible. An ink annotation and date in the hand of a collector to the verso would appear to indicate that the photograph was signed at a performance of the play Dr Angelus on 13th January 1948. Signed photographs by Sim of this size and quality are scarce and desirable. A few very light, minor surface and corner creases, otherwise VG
