A vintage East German Model 59 Type I AKM Kalashnikov rifle bayonet. The bayonet having a serrated edge to the back of the blade, black Bakelite grip with chequered press stud and cross guard with muzzle hole. Housed in a steel scabbard with black rubber grip. Measures approx. 34cm.

A collection of x22 vintage 1950s (1954) Cunard RMS Samaria cruise ship dinner menus together with x20 RMS Andes postcards. The dinner menus covering dates between July and September 1954. Throughout the 1920s and 1930s Samaria was frequently employed as a cruise ship. In September 1940 she took part in the evacuation of children from the UK to the US under the scheme set up by the Children's Overseas Reception Board (CORB). In 1941 the ship was taken over by the Royal Navy and served as a troopship until 1948 when she was returned to Cunard and refitted for passenger service. Between 1948 and 1955 Samaria was assigned almost exclusively to the Canadian route with service to Montreal, Quebec, and Halifax along with her sister-ship RMS Scythia. In November 1955 she completed her last transatlantic crossing and was subsequently sold for scrapping, which was completed in 1956 at Inverkeithing, Scotland.
SS Britannia - a vintage travelling manicure set in a small metal carry case containing a pair of scissors and nail files. Engraved on the lid SS Britannia. Measures approx3.5x7cm. On the 25th March 1941, during World War 2, SS Britannia was carrying service personnel, passengers and crew when she was attacked by the German surface raider Thor and sunk. There were 492 people on board; 243 of them survived the attack.
