1950s gentlemen's Omega 9ct gold wristwatch with silvered dial, subsidiary seconds, gilt numerals and dagger hands on leather strap.The watch 3.4 cm diameterThe watch is currently running and appears to be working correctly although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping. The movement is a manual wind 266 calibre movement. Hallmarked Birmingham 1955. Foxing/spots on the dial, good vintage condition commensurate with age, any service history or replacement parts are not known. Leather strap and buckle are not Omega. No box or papers.

Ind Coope & Co Fine Ales vintage advertising mirror, in original oak frame, 64 x 91cm. Provenance: By descent from Douglas Shepherd (1922-1989), a designer and architect working on public houses for the brewery firm Ind Coope. He was heavily influenced by and was a serious collector of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau, including leading designers and artists such as Charles Ashlee and Jessie M King. He assembled a large collection from the 1950s to 1970s. His book collection was subsequently sold through Sotherby’s and in 2013 his magnificent silver collection by Archibald Knox and others was sold through these rooms.
