A .40-65 (WCF) WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER-ACTION REPEATING SPORTING RIFLE, serial no. 107643, with saddle scabbard, for 1896, with 26in. octagonal barrel, the top-flat signed 'MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO, NEW HAVEN CONN. USA', replacement dove-tailed beaded blade fore-sight, replacement buckhorn rear-sight, plain receiver (probably originally colour-hardened), the top-tang marked 'MODEL 1886', straight-hand walnut butt-stock with iron crescent heel-plate, plain walnut fore-end with iron nose-cap and full length under-barrel magazine tube, together with a vintage leather saddle-scabbard signed 'Wolf'. Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament

A SCARCE PAIR OF VINTAGE ELEY-KYNOCH HANGING METAL SIGNS, comprising of mustard-yellow double-sided tin signs printed 'ELEY-KYNOCH NON CORROSIVE CARTRIDGES' over trademarks for 'ICI', 'Eley' and 'Kynoch', each sign supported within a brown painted aluminium frame with twin suspension rings above, each 24 1/4in. x 12 1/4in. (not including rings), one with patchy staining and paint loss to frame.
