Original vintage poster ‘Halte la Reagean! Ne touchez pas a la paix/ Stop there Reagan! Don’t touch the peace’. The poster features a drawing of a boy, shouting and pointing at the viewer, with a ruined building and a woman lying on the floor behind him. The skyline of a city is in the background, and in the corner of the image is a small section of Picasso’s Guernica (1937), featuring an upturned face and hands. The poster most likely references July 1981, when Israeli warplanes began bombarding a number of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) targets across Lebanon, mostly in Beirut and in the south of the country. At Lebanon's request, the United Nations Security Council held a two-hour emergency meeting, after which it demanded Israel to cease its bombing operations. The United States announced it would delay the planned shipment of F-16 fighter jets to Israel in response to the events. Original vintage anti-Soviet political propaganda poster / leaflet issued during the Second World War in Nazi allied Bulgaria. The leaflet is attacking Soviet Bolshevik Kolkhoz - Collective Farming system - featuring great colourful illustration of Collective Farm peasants gathered in a semi-dark room attending a meeting lead by a red-haired Communist Komissar. The reverse side of the poster explains that the meeting is run by a Communist Jew, who demands for the wheat to be delivered to Moscow the next day, regardless whether the norm has already been passed and if the peasants have any wheat left to make a living. It includes the story in Bulgarian depicted on the front of the poster, as well as comparison of the Kolkhoz and New agricultural order systems, and strongly promotes the latter, which is brought in by the Germans and their European allies. Original vintage advertising poster for Boris Godunov a 1954 Soviet drama film. The poster features green and black stylised image of ghost of Tsarevich Dmitry (1582-1591) overlooking himself dressed in long purple caftan and jewelled fur hat with sword on his belt being murdered by a woman in a pink headscarf and other terrified woman in traditional Russian Court Gown. The film is based on the 1874 opera by Modest Mussorgsky (1839–1881) and the 1825 play by Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837), which tells the epic story of Tsar Boris Godunov, who reigned over Russia between 1598-1605. Boris Godunov inherited the throne of Ivan the Terrible after the death of his eldest son Fedor and Tsarevich Dmitry. The people blamed Boris for the death of the latter. It was screened out of competition at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival. Fair condition, paper losses in margins, folds, creasing, staining, tears. Original vintage movie poster for a Japanese release of Never Say Never Again, a 1983 spy film starring Sean Connery and directed by Irvin Kershner. The film is based on the 1961 James Bond novel Thunderball, which had been previously adapted in a 1965 film under that name. Unlike the majority of Bond films, Never Say Never Again was not produced by Eon Productions but by Jack Schwartzman's Taliafilm in association with Kevin McClory, one of the original writers of the Thunderball storyline with Ian Fleming and Jack Whittingham. McClory retained the filming rights of the novel following a long legal battle dating from the 1960s.
