A vintage signed printed 8vo menu, in the form of a booklet, for the Fifth Annual Banquet of the Weirtonian Club, Lodge No. 183, Order Italian Sons and Daughters of America, at the Weirton Community Centre, West Virginia, 1st May 1960. The menu features many pages of printed text including a biography of Kennedy and a programme of events including a principal address by Kennedy, at the time the US Senator from Massachusetts. Signed by Kennedy in blue ink with his name alone (a slightly hurried example of his signature) to a clear area of the front cover. VG The present menu was signed by Kennedy during his Presidential Election Campaign of 1960.

McCarthy V.C.') in dark fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image, adding the initials of the Australian Imperial Force and date 11th September 1919 in his hand beneath his signature. Laid down to a page contained in an autograph album, the opposite page again signed and inscribed by McCarthy in dark fountain pen ink, 'With tons of Love & Kisses to my own Darling Dob from the Great big Australian Victoria Cross Croix de Guerre avec Palm, L McCarthy VC, 16th Battn. A. I. F.'. Tape stains to the edges of each page, only slightly affecting the base of the photograph and not the signatures or inscription. The album also includes various verses and a few drawings etc., in the hands of family and friends of the collector. A few pages loose. Covers detached and lacking spine.
