Veteran & Vintage Magazine. Volume 1 to volume 20. August 1956 to August 1976. A complete run to 1976 (the magazine closed in 1979) hardbound in black cloth with covers, title page and indices inserted in most volumes. Also, Collectors Motor car, volumes 1, 2 and 3. September 1979 to September 1981, bound with covers in green buckram. (15)
Topographical and Motoring Postcards. The motoring section includes images of racing, classic, vintage, and veteran cars and traction engines, etcetera, all dating from the last fifty years or so. The topographical section concentrates on coastal locations in the south of the UK, the bulk of the cards dating from the early 1914 1900s. Resorts covered include Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, Shoeburyness, Hadleigh, Canvey, Southsea, Thundersley, and Portsmouth. Also, a collection of about 60 postcards with images of theatrical performers, mostly those based at Southend. (Qty)

Percy Bradley, 1st Edition published by G. T. Foulis, frayed DJ with very dark spine; Brooklands to Goodwood: Fifty Years of the B. A. R. C., by Rodney Walkerley, 1st Edition, 1961, with DJ; Bikes at Brooklands in the Pioneer Years, by Peter Hartley, 1st Edition, 1973, signed by the author; and six others. Good condition. (11)
Veteran and Vintage Motoring Comic Postcard Album. A good quality loose-leaf purpose-made postcard album with hard maroon plastic covers holding principally comic veteran and vintage motoring postcards, mostly coloured. There are 28 clear polythene sleeves, nearly all with four cards to each side, and most in remarkably good, clean condition. The artists include; Tom Browne, Charles Crombie, Victor Beveridge, William Ridgewell, and F. McLeod, and there are also many continental examples and some series. There are about 30 post-WWII comic and racing car postcards at the rear of the album. A very notable collection, with a slipcase. Circa 220 postcards.
