1940s Circus Poster - an original vintage c1940s (believed c1945/46) poster for Bertram Mills Circus at the Olympia Grand Hall December 19th to January 31st. Featuring acts including: The Fearless Trio De Riaz, Victor Julians Dogs & Monkeys, Elephant Ballet, Timenon Arabs, Six Raspinis, and others. Printed by W. E. Berry Ltd of Bradford. Folded. Generally G+ to VG. Total size: 51cm x 31cm. Provenance: from a large private collection of 1940s theatre (and other) posters. All originally obtained and used by the Keith Prowse Ticket Agency in London during the period. All posters are used and display signs of wear. Most feature pin holes to the corners, and most are folded - although the folds tend not to have penetrated the print, making them largely unnoticeable in many cases.
